At Putteridge Bury we pride ourselves on knowing that your wedding day will be very special and full of wonderful memories for you and your family.

Based on 80 people - May to September: £10,000.00
Extras: Adult £130.00, Child £65.00, Evening Buffet £25.00

Based on 80 people - October to April: £9,000.00
Extras: Adult £120.00, Child £60.00, Evening Buffet £25.00

Included in the package

Includes the use of the following:

  • The house and gardens from the afternoon of the day of the wedding until last dance at midnight
  • A welcome drink on arrival per person
  • A room for the drinks reception, the gardens for photographs and the dining room for the wedding breakfast and the evening party
  • Three course meal plus coffee and chocolates for the wedding breakfast chosen from the Rose Package Menus
  • One glass of white, red or rose house wine, per person with the meal. Locally pressed juice will be available
  • A glass of sparkling wine for the toast
  • White linen tablecloths and napkins
  • An easel to display your seating plan
  • A member of our management team present throughout the day
  • A cake table with the use of a silver cake stand and a knife
  • Evening munchies for up to 80 guests
  • Car parking for 150 cars
  • All venue hire costs and VAT at the current rate

  • Smoked duck, cherry, mango, walnut, rocket (£3pp supp)
  • Chicken liver and brandy parfait, red onion chutney, sundried tomato and candied pecan endive salad, sour dough
  • Hot smoked salmon, carrot and courgette salad
  • Goats cheese, balsamic, sundried tomato, black olive tapenade and rocket (V)
  • Butternut squash and sweet potato soup (V, Ve)
Main Course
  • Chicken supreme, chateaux potatoes, roasted carrot and gravy
  • Pork fillet with creamed cabbage, sundried tomato, pancetta 
    Seabass, fennel pea and lemon risotto
  • Salmon supreme, crushed new potato, ratatouille, fine beans
  • Chargrilled vegetable stack, new potatoes, broccoli (V, Ve)
  • Vegetable nut roast, fondant potato, fine beans (V, Ve)
Dessert
  • Bakewell tart and custard (V)
  • Chocolate brownie with ice cream and chocolate sauce (V)
  • Lemon tart, raspberry coulis, shortbread served with chantilly cream (V)

  • Half a bottle of white, red or rose house wine, per person with the meal. Locally pressed juice will be available
  • A glass of house Champagne for the toast

  • A contribution towards your table or room decorations from our recommended suppliers
  • An easel to display your seating plan

  • A laptop and projector for your pictures, if required

Exclusivity of Putteridge Bury can be arranged at a discounted rate of £2,500

  • Beef Bresaola Carpaccio with roast fig, gorgonzola and pickled carrot (£3pp supp)
  • Pressed chicken and ham hock terrine with piccalilli, sour dough and black olive soil and apricot gel
  • Smoked haddock bon bon with minted pea puree and truffle oil
  • Putteridge Bury cured gravlax salmon with dill crème fraiche and pickled cucumber (£3pp supp)
  • Roasted sweet potato and leek soup with crispy leeks (V, Ve)
  • Baby plum tomato, watermelon and bocconcini salad with rocket and balsamic (V)
Main Course
  • Chicken supreme with leg meat bon bon, sauteed seasonal vegetable and red wine jus
  • Pressed pork belly, caramelised red onion mash potato, burnt apple puree, tender stem broccoli, port jus
  • Lamb cutlet with breaded shoulder of lamb, fondant potato, spinach and plum tomato (£5pp supp)
  • Guinea fowl supreme with gnocchi, pea, spinach and chestnut mushroom
  • Butter roasted loin of cod with butterbean puree and bean cassoulet
  • Chalk stream trout, crushed new potato, ratatouille and fine beans
  • Butternut squash, lentil and spinach wellington with parsnip puree, fondant potato and fine beans (V, Ve)
  • Courgette nut roast with artichoke puree, fondant potato and fine beans (V, Ve)
Dessert
  • Vanilla pod cheesecake with balsamic blueberry compote, and white chocolate (V)

Civil Ceremony

  • The price includes the use of a licensed room for a Civil Ceremony and of the gardens for photographs for up to 2 hours from the start of the ceremony.
  • White chair covers to match your colour scheme.

Ceremony capacities:

  • Room 1 - 120 people
  • Room 6 or 7 - 60 people
